Richard Rodriguez has a broad business law practice representing clients in both transactional and litigation matters. His business acumen gained from his extensive legal and non-law experience informs his practice of law. Having owned several businesses, Richard is acutely aware of the challenges that face business owners and has tailored his practice to advise clients from the start-up stages of business to private and corporate finance transactions and M&A. Additionally, he represents clients in business disputes necessitating alternative dispute resolutions and complex litigation, and has successfully represented clients in all facets of litigation.
Prior to joining BBD&G, Richard practiced at Greenberg Traurig, an Am Law top 20 firm, at one of Tampa’s most respected business/tax boutique law firms, and served as both outside general and in-house counsel.
Richard is originally from NYC. He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
