Cynthia Whitman is an Associate Attorney with experience in civil litigation and insurance defense, focusing on premises liability, general liability, auto and trucking negligence, and medical-malpractice defense. She joined BBD&G in December 2025.

A Tampa Bay native, Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Tampa. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a Copy Editor for the Tampa Tribune.

Cynthia received a scholarship to attend Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she earned Book Awards in Legal Writing, Scholarly Writing, and Pre-Trial Skills. She also served as Senior Articles Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law and worked as a teaching and research assistant, contributing to the publication of numerous scholarly articles.
