Nikita Patel
Associate
Nikita Patel is an Associate Attorney whose practice focuses on general liability matters. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Nikita later relocated to Louisiana, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology, from Louisiana State University in 2019.
Nikita went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2023. During law school, Nikita was actively engaged in the academic community, serving on the Barristers Committee and as a third-year class representative. She was also an active member of the Public Interest Law Society as well as the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association. In recognition of her academic achievements and leadership, Nikita was awarded the John Marshall Scholarship and was selected as a Scholar of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
Prior to joining BBD&G, Nikita worked as an Associate Attorney at Cole, Scott & Kissane, where her practice primarily focused on general civil litigation. Her experience includes handling cases involving catastrophic and personal injury, premises liability, strict liability, products liability, and trucking and commercial auto claims.
Outside of her legal practice, Nikita enjoys watching college football, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
